He grew up in Toronto, and studied design at Durham College in the early 90s, acquiring a wealth of communications and graphic skills. After working as a graphic designer at a downtown Toronto print shop, he decided to become an entrepreneur. He founded a digital animation and design company that later evolved into Coptor Productions, which he co-owns with Jeremy. Todd has risen through the ranks of the producer’s unit, first as the associate producer for Raising Valhalla (2008), then as co-producer on Kitohcikew (2009), and finally as executive producer for all of Wabung Anung’s subsequent productions, including Sparkle (2010), Catch the Dream Bios (2012), Kaha:wi (2014), Urban Native Girl (2016), two Heritage Minutes in 2016 — Naskumituwin and Chanie Wenjack — and season 1 of Amplify (2019). Below the line, he serves as Production Accountant, and has developed Wabung Anung’s proprietary administration system.
